It was already dark when Sabastian arrived at the island. What happened? He didn't know. It was so dark that he couldn't see anything except one opening. Sabastian decided that he would try to see where the path lead. He didn't know where he was. After entering, he noticed that the walls were green and seemed like plants. That was very odd. Sabastian had a feeling that he shouldn't go in here, but it was too late. He was lost.
He turned a few more corners before realizing that it was a maze. He didn't know how to get out. Looking around, he decided to yell. "HELLO!!" If someone could hear him, they might come help him. And maybe tell him what happened. The last thing he saw was a male stabbing him, trying to take his shoes. And then he was here. Had he died? Was he in a coma? Did this place actually exsist? Again, Sabastian didn't know.

"HELLO!?"
Susan had been walking around for waht felt like days, moving through twist and turns, trying to find some kind of way out of this crazy place. She was beginning to think she'd loose her mind when she heard a voice echo nearby.
Now she was desprate, running in the direction of the voice. "Hello?! HELLO!? Are you there!?" her voice sounded so pathetic even to her, but she needed to find someone, anyone, who could help her...
Her last moments of life had been the worst of her life. Even now the horror of it hadnt fully set in. But now her focus was in finding out where she was at that moment. She was a problem solver, but so far this problem seemed to be... unsolvable...

A noise startled Sabastian as he was turning once more. It sounded like someone was talking. Was someone calling out too? Or was it just his imagination, his echo? He didn’t know, but he planned to find out. ‘Bastian set out in the direction he heard the voice coming from. He followed until he ran into a dead end. “HELLO!! DID SOMEONE CALL?” he yelled, hoping that the answering voice wouldn’t say the same thing.
Turning in another direction, Sabastian attempted to make his way to the possible person. Was he losing his mind? Was there someone there? Was this hell, searching a maze for someone who might or might not be there? It sure felt like hell to the boy. It was then that he heard the answer echoing through the greenery. The voice did not saw exactly what he had. It was someone. It is someone.
“Stay where you are! I will come to you!” He yelled. He continued to walk, hoping that he would make it. Maybe if he kept her talking, it would be easier to find her. It was a girl, he understood now. It couldn’t have been his echo, but it still could be his imagination. “My name is Sabastian!” He called. “If you keep talking, I might be able to find you.”

Susan heard the voice and she kept trying to find it until it sounded like he was right on the other side of a wall. "Yes! Yes I called! Hello?! Oh god please answer!"
She was shouting as she started to jog slightly, really wanting to find this person. She too wondered if this was some kind of hell, looking for someone who didnt exsist.
When he said to stay put she stopped, "A-ALRIGHT!" She called back, stopping and looking up to the sky. It was dar and starless, and she folded her arms with a shiver and tried not to look as nervous as she felt.
She heard him tell her his name and she called back, "I'M SUSAN! ARE YOU CLOSE?!"

Sabastian listened to her voice as he ran, finding more dead ends. It seemed impossible to find this girl. And even when he did, could they find their way out? The thought scared Sabastian. He wasn’t the adventuring type. He was shy, and quiet, and scared. But he was optimistic that he would find a way out. He had to be, it was in his nature.
“I think I’m close, but I can only find dead ends. Maybe I can climb…” He stopped to try his plan. Looking for a part of the maze that seemed the most climbable, he grabbed a hold of a branch, pulling himself up a little. It seemed to be working, and Sabastian was happy about that. The walls were at least 8 feet tall and he was only a foot from the top. It was then that he fell back to the ground.
There were thorns along the top of the walls. Someone didn’t want people to be able to climb over it. “Nevermind. Don’t try to climb the walls, there are thorns.” She let her know, just in case she had the same idea. “I think I am only a few walls away from you. This maze is difficult.” He realized, sighing slightly before picking himself up off the ground and starting to walk again. “Do you know what this place is? Why we are here?” He asked.

Susan could hear him nearby. She looked hopeful, pacing the wall a little while she rubbed at her arm. When he mentioned climbing the wall she attempted that as well, but half way up she heard his warning about the thorns and dropped back down onto the ground with a frusterated groan.
"Thanks for the warning!" She called, bighting her lower lip and looking up, "I was about to ask you the same thing!"
Growing impatient, she started to walk again, thinking the owner of the voice had to be around there somewhere.
"There HAS to be a way!" She shouted, moving a little faster as she growled.

“No problem,”
Sabastian wiped his blood hands on his jeans. They seemed to the same clothes as he was wearing before. And he still had his shoes, which was suprising, since he remembered someone trying to steal them before he was shot. He was shot! Did he.. die for real? “I know this is going to sound weird..” He started, turning a few more corners, glad that he didn’t run into any more walls. “But I.. I think.. I’m dead.” He told her, knowing he was going to sound crazy.
“The last thing I remember someone was shooting me because I wouldn’t give them my shoes. It hurt..I remember the pain, and I remember someone standing over me, but that’s the last thing I remember, until I woke up here. Do you remember how you got here?” he asked, turning once more and seeing someone walking away from him
Could this be the girl he was talking to? Or had he gone delusional, walking about the maze. “Hi,” he said a little quieter so that he wasn’t yelling at her. But he needed to make her hear him so that she didn’t walk away again.

Susan heard his voice and she continued to try and follow it. Walking several feet. "Dead?!" She asked, not sure if she'd heard him properly.
When he asked how she'd gotten there, she paused and thought about it. Shaking her head, she decided that had just been a nightmare. She wasnt dead. She was lost.
Suddenly she heard the voice behind her and she turned around slowly, feeling somewhat afraid to see the face that went with the voice.
Seeing a guy of about six feet standing a few feet away she tensed in fear and took a step back.
"Hi." She said back, thinking herself rediculous to expect him to suddenly rush at her and attack her...

Sabastian smiled slightly, glad to finally have found someone. He didn’t like being on his own, even though he had been for a while now. Ever since he left England, he had been by himself. It didn’t help that he wasn’t very social to begin with, he didn’t know how to talk to people, or anything and it became very obvious at this moment.
She looked scared, and ‘Bastian didn’t know what to do to comfort her. After all, he had just told her that he thought he was dead. That might not have been a good thing to do, but Sabastian didn’t know what else to say. “I’m sorry, I startled you. Your Susan, right?” He asked, his smile slightly boyish, his british accent a little thicker than it normally was.
Sabastian knew that even the kindest looking person could harm someone. He hated to think badly of people, but it couldn’t be helped anymore. After all, he had been shot, maybe killed. “Umm.. maybe we should get out of here..Its getting cold.” He realized.

Susan stayed still, watching him. She turned around completely to face him, her eyes looking him over and judging him. He was tall and cute. Probably cuter than any guy she'd seen in a long time. And his accent was one that, when she was alive, might have made her weak in the knees. But at the moment she was still warey of him.
She nodded in responce to his question. "Yes. I'm Susan." Before she took a causious step towards him and looked around. Sighing she nodded again, "Alright. Where should we try? I swear i've been walking through here for what seems like days and havnt found any hint of a way out..."
But there had to be a way out. Why would there be a maze with no exit? And there was always the way in wasnt there?

Sabastian smiled again when Susan seemed to take a step forward. It showed that she wasn’t too scared of him. He looked around for a minute before turning back to her. “Alright.. Well, I started outside and walked into the maze..” he started, realizing that it was a stupid thing to do. He should have stayed out, but then this girl could have stayed lost.
“were you outside the maze too?” He asked, realizing that at some point in time she had to have been outside, but she could have woken up inside it. That would have been frightening. After shaking his head, he realized that it didn’t really matter. He seemed to have been walking for about an hour, so his path had been shorter. “Never mind.” He turned back the way he had come.
“Maybe, if we go back the way I came, we could find the way out. If we can see footprints, we can just follow mine all the way back.” He suggested. He looked down. The ground was wet. It might have just rained and that meant that there would be foot prints.
Looking back over his shoulder at the blond he smiled. “Come on, lets get out of here and figure out what this place is..” he said, holding his hand out to her. It was slightly shaking. He wasn’t used to people and the last one he saw had shot him. He looked at his hand again, realizing it was still bloody from the thorns and wiped it on his jeans again. “The thorns..” he explained. Sabastian shrugged.

Susan watched him carefully, following and shakeing her head when she saw it was another dead end.
"I... don't remember." She lied. Actually she remembered everything. Even the way the gun looked when it was pointed at her face, and the way it sounded when it went off. A shock that felt like being plunged into ice water, and then waking up in this crazy place. The walls of the maze were all she'd known about what felt like hours and hours. She was actually quite relieved now to have been found by someone, but she still didnt know if she trusted him.
When he reached his hand out to her she hesitated, stareing at it. It wasnt the blood. It was just the hand in general that made her uneasy, and just as she started to lift her own to take it he pulled it away.
Not saying anything else, she wrapped her arms around herself and shivered. She was feeling really cold now.
"How about this way?" She said, walking towards another path that switched back in a direction that seemed to her to go further into the maze, but at least it was somewhere different...

Sabastian put his hands in his pockets, and started to follow her down the longer path. “It’s alright. I don’t remember much either. This is all weird. I don’t remember coming here, just waking up outside.” He looked cautiously at her, almost afraid that she would look at him with fear, or that she could think that he was crazy.
He didn’t have the best luck with people. He seemed to trust the wrong person and get into bad situations. “I’m sure there are more people somewhere close by, there has to be. We will figure this all out when we get away from this maze.” He said, following her around the green walls.
The silence was almost too much. ‘Bastian looked back at the blond. Now he had time to study her. She seemed nice. She didn’t look crazy. Those were good things, and always the first things he looked for, though he knew he wouldn’t know what a crazy person looked like. She had pretty eyes and her face was really pretty, even though she looked a little worried.
“Tell me about yourself,” he requested, his voice too soft for it to be a command. Besides, he would never command anyone to do anything, he was too shy for that. He just wanted to fill the silence and get to know her a little better, because it didn’t seem like they would be going back to their old lives anytime soon, unless this was just a dream. It would figure that he would dream of being lost, and meeting a pretty girl, but it could easily turn into a nightmare.

Susan peered around the corner of the hedge only to see another switch back. She gave a frusterated sigh and continued on, glancing behind her to make sure Sebastian was still there. Now that she wasnt alone she could feel her panic decreasing and her old self returning.
"mmmm...." She said thoughtfully, "What do you want to know?" She looked over her shoulder at Sebastian again before going around the corner to see two passageways. She looked between the two, not sure which one to follow...

Sabastian followed her around a few more corners. All the green was starting to annoy him. He liked the colour green, but it seemed to be everywhere and it was getting to him. He wondered if it was starting to get to Susan as well. It was much easier to keep talking. It would distract them both.
They came to a crossroads and Sabastian didn’t know what way to go. It seemed like Susan didn’t either. He looked around. “Umm.. left.. no.. right.” He said, confused. He then got an idea. But he wasn’t sure that she would like it too much.
“I..umm.. could lift you up.. and maybe you could see over the walls and figure out which way out might be..” he said, before blushing at the thought. He wasn’t used to physical contact and people didn’t just lift strangers up all the time. At least he assumed they didn’t.
